Before dedicating herself to writing, Jeanne had a diverse career, working as an RN in a Detroit trauma center, in corporate planning at an urban medical center, teaching high school health and sex education at a private school, and owning an upscale farm-to-table bistro in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. She is the mother of two independent adults and enjoys a life filled with travel, yoga, ayurveda, beach walks, bicycling, kayaking, gardening, cooking, and reading. Jeanne resides in Vero Beach, Florida, Old Forge, New York, or Peterborough, New Hampshire, depending on the season, and is known for her spirited humor and candid opinions.
